My Review of the Charm Vox Box ⋆ Movement is Bliss

I never get free stuff! Well, I take that back. When I was a pro NFL cheerleader, we had awesome sponsors! From hair services, makeup hookups, and free gym and gear for rehearsals. I miss those days.

Although my cheer days are behind me, I was lucky enough to be picked to receive some free goodies! Isn’t this lovely? I got it for free from Influenster.com. I honestly can’t remember how I found out about this wonderful site but I signed up and received a free box to test products and give honest reviews in return. Judging from their social media, they may categorize their boxes because I’ve seen some cool makeup boxes go to the beauty reviewer crowd. I think I received the mom box! 🙂 As much as I would LOVE free make up to review, this box was AWESOME because it had everyday products that I could sample but also share with the family.

Wet & Wild 1 step Wonder Gel

There’s just something about nail polish that gives me a “pick me up” so I am LOVING the Wet and Wild 1 step Wonder Gel nail polish I received in my box. This color is called Peri-Wink-el of an Eye. Two coats of this and it’ll last you a few days without chipping.

Chocolate Dipped Peeps!

How cute are these? I admit that I am not a fan of coconut flavored foods or drinks (except coconut water) but these are actually good! There is a certain elegance to these Peeps with the dipped chocolate component. My husband does not like sweets but even he ate one.
McCormick Organic Taco Seasoning

They had me at ORGANIC. I made a vegetarian kale taco salad for Taco Tuesday! I added the seasoning packet to a can of red kidney beans and cooked it for about 20 minutes. I topped the taco-seasoned beans on a bed of organic brown rice and organic kale. This seasoning mix is mild (not spicy at all), it is also versatile, as meat eaters and vegetarians can use this mix.

Vera Wang Embrace Fragrances

I received two samples from Vera Wang’s Embrace ling.

Green Tea and Pear Blossom: I liked this one, it has a very soft floral tone to it. I would wear this for work because it’s not overwhelming, it’s very clean and sophisticated.
Periwinkle and Iris: This was my favorite out of the two. I would describe this scent as sweet and soft. It is perfect for outings or weekends. I also feel it is good for daytime if you like the sweeter scents.

Mott’s Natural Apple Sauce

Yum! As a mom, pouches are LIFESAVERS. This was one of the first products that I tested because I was in need of a snack. I only got to taste a little bit because my baby girl saw the pouch and immediately crawled to me so she could eat it. She ate the rest like a champ! She is picky so this passes the taste test!

Eva NYC Shampoo and hair mask

Just look as how generous these samples are! I was able to get two hair treatments out of the mask (I have a LOT of hair) and I still have shampoo left!

As a curly girl, I am picky about hair care products. Shampoos can be drying and a many conditioners contain a lot crappy fillers that can do more harm than good. I was a little weary to try these but once I read the labels, I knew I was in for a treat. These products don’t contain parabens and are not animal tested. Furthermore, they contain argan oil, which is a plant basked oil can benefit hair and skin. After using the shampoo, my hair didn’t feel stripped. The hair mask left my hair feeling soft, moisturized, and it looked great curly and after I straightened it.
