It’s the week of Thanksgiving and I have lots of gratitude in my heart. Though I look forward to yummy vegetarian Thanksgiving food, I’m definitely motivated to stay on track with workouts, eating more veggies, and maintaining an overall positive mindset. I’d love to share a few fitness things I’m grateful for right now!
Let’s dive right in!
- I’m a new ambassador for For Two Fitness! You’ve seen me in their shirt before! They have everything from tanks, tees, shorts, capris, and leggings for various sports! The For Two Fitness clothing line is made to fit mamas during their entire fit pregnancy journey, they even have some postpartum items.
- My fitness journal: I track my workouts via my Garmin Connect app (after I workout) but there’s something about writing out my workouts for the week and accomplishing the goals. I love that there’s pages of tips and motivation throughout the journal.
- The fact I can still run! Well, more like run/walk. I’m in a Facebook group for pregnant women who run, it’s amazing how some women have to stop right away in 2nd trimester yet some gals are running in their 39th week! After each run/walk, I evaluate how I feel and stop right away if I have round ligament pain (which has happened once in the last several months). Despite being further along, I’m running longer intervals lately!
- My new studio membership: Last week, I signed up for a 6 month membership at Meraki Mama Collective. The membership will cover the upcoming final 3 months of pregnancy and 3 months postpartum! This wonderful studio offers prenatal and postnatal yoga, pilates, barre, and several types of workshops that focus on mama and baby. I’m so thankful to have a studio like this in my area.
- My new set of fitness band kit: I run 2-3 days a week so I’ve added more yoga, barre and low impact strength training. Bands are the perfect substitute for heavy weights because they are portable, easy to use, and there are endless ways to use them! I got this set from Amazon, I love that gliders were a part of the kit.
- Tennis balls! Luckily, my husband plays tennis; they don’t use the balls after a match so he gives them all to me! When I taught yoga, I incorporated them in my classes. I use these bad boys to massage crampy legs, my low back, and feet (especially after running)!
When I start feeling weird about my changing body, newfound clumsiness, and pregnancy insomnia, I just remind myself I’m growing a human and I send the universe lots of gratitude for my health and family. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
What about you? I would love to hear about any fitness/wellness products (or a little about your journey) that you’re thankful for!
Keep reminding yourself about that growing baby! Pregnancy fitness is different and a little weirder than normal fitness haha. Your body will definitely benefit from working out but you might feel way more tired while doing it. I was still very glad I kept my fitness up with my pregnancies because you bounce back much faster after having the baby!

Yes you are growing a human in there! I think it’s great that you are still running and feeling good. That resistance band set is great to have for sure. I will be enjoying my veggie Thanksgiving food as well

Congratulations on your new ambassadorship! I also have a similar training journal and love it as well.
Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving!
Hello, Through still run you can manage your body development easily. This is my personal experience that I feel mush lightly nad fresh after a walk. So I must say that still run is the best for health and body.
