We performed at the NFL game Falcons vs Dolphins! For the past month, I’ve been focused on the 2018 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders Alumni performance (not to mention the upcoming DanceFX performance)!
I can’t believe I haven’t participated in one until now, though an ex-teammate told me she thinks I performed in one in 2008 or 2009? HA! It’s possible but I don’t recall it. We performed in the new Mercedes Benz stadium, which was extremely exciting! The new dome is beautiful, spacious, and open.
So how do you get 100+ alumni cheerleaders from the 1960’s-2010’s together? Several practices over a months time + we had to learn the routine via video. I started learning it at the end of September while on vacation because it was a 4 minute routine! We also had a mandatory rehearsal the day before game day and several rehearsals during game day. In fact, our call time was 6:15am! Ouch.
I had a blast, despite the 2 day stimulation overload for me (which happens with a lack of sleep + being an introvert). Here are some pictures! Until we all meet again! Cheers!
