I’m in the midst of week 8 and it’s hard to believe there’s 4 weeks left of the challenge. I’m proud to say that I’m still going strong.
Looking back at the last four weeks, here’s what happened:
- These were the toughest weeks mentally. The newness of the challenge faded a bit and the “February fizzle” was real! I stayed motivated by changing my mindset and approaching each meal/workout with gratitude.
- I got braver in the kitchen. I purchased a spiralizer, food processor, and immersion blender! I’m loving zoodles at the moment.
- My little one turned 1! I looked back at her monthly growth photos and my progress photos I’ve taken since I gave birth. It’s amazing to see how much we’ve both changed throughout the year.
- I started reading…A LOT! Aside from my new small kitchen appliances, I’ve purchased several books. I don’t know how I’ll get through all of them because reading for leisure isn’t happening anytime soon!
- My clothes are officially getting too loose. I’m holding off buying a new wardrobe though, I don’t know what size I’m going to end up stabilizing at.
Only 4 weeks left…I’m in the homestretch!
